The first annual FM Crossroads Contest Powwow will be showcasing the best Native American dancers, performers, singers and vendors to introduce North Dakota residents and visitors to the rich history of the area. Engage in the fun-filled, family-friendly celebration of some of our country’s oldest cultures.
Ribs and Bluegrass Festival
Few things go together better than succulent tasting ribs and bluegrass music. Visit Medora, N.D., on May 14, for the action-packed Ribs and Bluegrass Festival, featuring live music, family-friendly activities, vendors and plenty of delicious barbecue to go around. Wild West Shoot-Out
Experience the spirit of the Old West at a realistic Wild West Shoot-Out at Frontier Village in Jamestown. This exciting show is thrilling for the entire family and is free for all attendees. The shootout will take place between 3 p.m. and 4 p.m., but visitors will want to plan to spend the entire day checking out the village’s shops, eateries, museums and more.
